Kaludiya Pokuna
The biggest is Kalu Diya Pokuna, thought to be the Porodini Pokuna mentioned in Mahinda IV's inscription. A dark water pool is what Kalu Diya Pokuna signifies when translated literally. The moniker, which is accurate for most of the day, is claimed to have developed out of reverence for the somber reflections of trees and boulders in the nearby forests and mountains.
