Karambagala Hermitage, also known as Karandulena Hermitage, is a historic forest hermitage located in Ambalantota, Sri Lanka. The hermitage is situated on two hillocks, Madunagala and Karambagala, with Madunagala Hill being 327 feet high and Karambagala Hilltop 392 feet high, about 600 meters away. The ruins of three stupas can be found on the site, with one completely destroyed and the other two partially restored. The hermitage also contains numerous ancient caves with drip ledges, one of which was believed to be inhabited by Chitta Gupta Maha Thero. Karambagala Hermitage can be accessed by travelling 18 km from Ambalantota on the Ridiyagama Road.
