Devon Falls

Devon Falls is a waterfall located in the central highlands of Sri Lanka. It is situated in the Talawakele area of the Nuwara Eliya District, and is approximately 19 kilometers (12 miles) west of the town of Talawakele. The waterfall is 97 meters (318 feet) tall and is formed by the Kothmale Oya, a tributary of the Mahaweli River. The waterfall is named after a tea plantation owner called Devon, who owned the land where the waterfall is located. It is a popular tourist destination and is known for its picturesque beauty, and is often visited by tourists as part of a tour of the nearby tea plantations.
