Oth Pilimaya at Atadage

The Oth Pilimaya, a resting Buddha statue made entirely of bricks, is an ancient statue located in the Dalada Maluwa area of the Polonnaruwa ancient city. The remains of a building, where only the rock pillars are left, surround the statue. Unfortunately, the statue's fine features have been mostly destroyed by exposure to the elements of nature for over 900 years.
