Gangaramaya Temple
The Temple’s architecture potrays a mix of Sri Lankan, Thai, Indian and Chineese Buddhist culture. The Seema Malaykaya which is the assembly hall of monks was built to the design of the renowned Sri Lankan architect Geoffrey Bawa. It has also been instrumental in establishing the Buddhist temples on Staten Island (U.S.A.) the , New York and the in Tanzania.
