Dunhinda Ella (Bridal Falls)
The area the Falls is located is said to have been once inhibited by Indigenous people of the Veddha tribe. During King Rajasinghe's ruling, an enormous fern blocked the entire flow of water, between two mountains resulting in the flooding of the Badulla town. The task of clearing this giant fern took three months the town emerged.
