The Dutch Reformed Church

The Dutch Reformed Church, which was established on July 4, 1752, is a critical chronicled structure in Galle Fort. Mr. Abraham Antonius, the director of the woodworkers working in shipbuilding at the Galle harbor, supervised the development of this construction. This congregation was worked to the detriment of Mr. Casparis Jong, Galle Commandeer, as a thanksgiving offering to God out of appreciation for his little girl's introduction to the world after a protracted time of barrenness. Adriana Johana, his little girl, was purified through the water at this Church on August 24, 1755. This congregation is developed on a cross-molded establishment, as is standard in the development of Dutch places of worship. Accordingly, this congregation is alluded to as "Cross Church" (Kruiskerk in Dutch). A noticeable part of this structure is the peak at the front, which is made in a plan that isn't found in some other coordinated development.
