Natha Devalaya at Kandy
The Natha Deviyo, the highest-ranking deity during the Kandyan kingdom, is believed to have appeared in various forms in Sri Lanka during different eras, and the Natha Devalaya is said to have played a vital role in establishing royalty during the Kandy Kingdom.
Constructed by King Vikramabahu III in the 14th century, the Natha Devalaya is a three-story building complex with a solid panel sculpture and "stupas" and a Bodhi tree, displaying Dravidian architecture.
