Located just five kilometers before reaching Dambulla town on the Kurunegala-Dambulla Road, the ancient burial ground of Ibbankatuwa unfolds its historical secrets. Spanning an area of approximately 15x15 meters, this burial ground has yielded a fascinating discovery of about 10 tombs. Each tomb stands distinct, separated by four sturdy stone slabs and capped by an additional slab on the top.
