Kasagala Rajamaha Viharaya at Weeraketiya
The temple features two medium-sized stupas, with one believed to have been built by King Devanampiyatissa and the other by King Saddhatissa (137-119 BC), brother of King Dutugemunu. The temple received royal patronage from many kings throughout history, including King Kavanthissa (200-160 BC) who built several buildings, later renovated by King Dappula I (659 AD) and King Vijayabahu I (1070-1110).
